In the Game Boy and Game Gear ports, the access code for the completed Space tribe is NGAWABDX.

Music

The track "Space Tribe" is based on "The Blue Danube", which was famously used in the film 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Pop Culture References

This tribe has many references to science fiction works in its levels.

• In addition to the music, the names of the 7th and 8th levels are references to 2001.
• One of the background objects is the power loader from the movie Aliens.
• The teleporter sound comes from Star Trek.
• One of the traps is the player-controlled mech from DMA Design's other 1993 game Walker.
